| Lindsay Puente, ABD in Comparative Literature, will be presenting
"Imaginary Reconstructions: Voices,Lost and Found," a piece from Chapter Four of her dissertation, Locating Slavery in
the Modern National Imaginary: The Legacy of Haiti. Her presentation considers contemporary gendered representations in revisionist Caribbean literature,at home and abroad.
