Markus Krajewski: "Index Cards: History, Theory, and Practice of Personal Knowledge Management"

Markus Krajewski teaches media history and history of sciences at the Bauhaus University
in Weimar, Germany, and is currently a Research Fellow at the Harvard University Humanities Center.

He is the author of books and essays on media history, and also the programmer of Synapsen, a hypertextual card indexing and knowledge
management software (unhappy users of Endnote or Zotero beware!), available from /www.verzetteln.de/synapsen

The Software Culture speaker series brings media scholars to UC Irvine, supported by HumaniTech®, Film & Media Studies, Visual Studies, and the
UCI Humanities Center. Other speakers included Alan Liu, Wendy Chun, Alex Galloway, and McKenzie Wark.
