| Biography Vicki Hsieh is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Comparative Literature at UCI.
She received her B.A. from Cornell University in Psychology and Comparative Literature,
where she discovered that she enjoys thinking about why people do the things they do.
She currently researches and writes about contemporary and modern Chinese-language
fiction (with a focus on Taiwan), and is mostly interested in how representations of
community and privacy interact in literature. She is a big fan of cats. |
