UCI Literary Journalism

Internships

The UCI literary journalism program offers students the opportunity to propose independent studyInitern projects, for course credit, that involve working as unpaid interns at local publications. The internships are for one quarter--ten weeks--and students will usually work about ten hours a week, often two five-hour days. Most students who wish to make use of this opportunity will find it best to seek and arrange these internships on their own. From time to time, though, we will post internship possibilities. Current Internship Possibilities: Please note: If you get the internship, you still need to submit a proposal for an independent study project if you require course credit.
